High Performance, Low-Cost K Band, Low Noise GaAs FET Transistor

NE3520S03

New ultra low cost plastic package maintains best-in-class performance

Renesas Electronics and California Eastern Laboratories (CEL) are now shipping a new K Band GaAs Field Effect Transistor (FET), the NE3520S03.

Key Features
The NE3520S03 is an N-Channel GaAs hetero junction FET primarily for super K band, 20GHz low noise amplifier (LNA) designs such as DBS LNBs for satellite TV receivers.

This new Low Noise FET has been designed with an ultra low-cost plastic package, while maintaining best-in-class 20GHz performance previously obtained only with high cost ceramic packages.

Noise Figure / Associated Gain: 0.65 dB / 13.5dB (typical at @ 20 GHz, 2V, 10mA)
